With the year coming to an end, the Christmas and new year holiday season approaching, people doing lots of shopping especially with the just concluded Black Friday and Cyber Monday events and the upcoming end of the year sales and mouth-watering discounts, shopping is pretty much inevitable which makes it pertinent to consider some clothing recycling options while we shop for ourselves and others. Some of these options include but not limited to giving to friends and family members, giving to charity organizations like The Diabetes Association of Canada, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, New Circles GLOW, Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, Salvation Army e.t.c.

Secondly, to recoup some of your initial investment for your gently used clothes, you can sell to stores like Plato’s Closets or Common Sort (locations are listed on their websites) or online on Kijiji, Poshmark, eBay, though selling online can be time-consuming especially when you have lots of clothing items to list or sell can yield financial rewards.

Lastly, consignment stores like The Comeback, Consign Toronto, VSP Consignment, LAB Consignment, Fashionably Yours Designer Consignment provide a way for their stores to sell luxury clothing items and fashion accessories in the Greater Toronto area for you. With consignment stores, the clothing items are priced by the store but both the store and the owner of the clothing items receive profits when the items are sold to customers.

One of the reasons clothes end up in the landfill is the lack of convenient solutions to recycle your clothing items especially during the winter months.

Redeem Clothing Recycling is here to make it easy and convenient for you to recycle, simply schedule a pickup anywhere within the GTA and we would come to pick up recycled clothing items.

Selling online is a science on its own so check out this amazing post by Farnoosh Torabi on “How to sell online in Canada eBay, Poshmark, whatever platform”. it provides excellent tips and tricks to get the most out of your listings on these websites.
